The jewel in the V8 crown always produces memorable moments and four days spent on “the hill” will certainly provide you with memories you will never forget. Whether you have been there before, or you are looking to experience Bathurst for the first time, let Boys Trip take all the hassle out of your trip to the 2019 Bathurst 1000.
In 2019, we will again be offering three different package options; the Campervan Package, the Motel Package and the Sydney Weekend Package. There's something to suit every requirement and budget.

The below package prices are just a guide, exact pricing will differ depending on how many travelers you have, your city of departure, any optional extras you require and when you request your quote.
Sydney & Bathurst
8 - 15 Oct
Our campervan package is for the fans that want to roll out of bed and be able to smell the burning rubber and you can’t get any closer to the action than camping on Mount Panorama. If this sounds like you, this package has everything you’ll need.
Depart Auckland/Wellington/Christchurch/Queenstown (regional connections available) on Tuesday 8th October, arriving in Sydney and spending that night at the 4-Star Mantra 2 Bond Street. That night you’ll get to meet other Boys Trip clients at our Drinks & Nibbles Welcome Function. The next day pick up your Maui Campervan, either a 2-Berth (with 1 double bed OR 2 single beds), 4-Berth (with 2 double beds) or 6-Berth (with 3 double beds) and take the 3-hour drive through to Bathurst. You’ll spend 5 nights at your own allocated campsite on Mount Panorama, just a short walk from the track. On Monday 14th, you’ll pack up the campervan and drive back to Sydney, returning the campervan and staying another night at Mantra 2 Bond Street, before flying back home on Tuesday 15th October.

For our Bathurst Campervan package you are looking at $2,800 per person, based on four people sharing a 4-Berth Campervan. For two people sharing a 2-Berth the pricing will be around $3,500 per person. Prices will vary depending on your numbers, required campervan & campsite, departure city and optional extras, as always you can personalise this package to suit.

- Accident liability down to a zero excess and no bond to pay

Sportsnet Friday Night Legends Dinner
We've teamed up with our mates from Sportsnet Australia for their Friday Night Legends Dinner at the Panthers Club in Bathurst. The 3.5 hour function includes; a two course dinner, beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, interviews with Bathurst legends, signature & photo opportunities, live band, prizes and more!

4-DAY GRANDSTAND UPGRADE OPTIONS:
Your package includes 4-Day General Admission tickets, which allows you the freedom to roam the Mount Panorama circuit and check out the action from a number of different vantage points. There are also two grandstand upgrade options available;
Pit Straight Grandstand #10 (UNCOVERED)
For a better view and a reserved seat for the whole four days of racing, upgrade to the Pit Straight Grandstand, which also includes access to all general admission areas.
Extra $220 per person
Mountain Straight Grandstand #12 (COVERED)
You don’t get a better view of the track than from the Mountain Straight Grandstand; this ticket includes your grandstand seat as well as access to all general admission areas.

Grandstand tickets are only available in 4-Day passes, you cannot purchase single day grandstand passes. All tickets include Paddock Pass access, which gives you a behind the scenes look at where all the action takes place. From inside the Paddock, you can see the teams working in the garages, the amazing purpose built team transporters and maybe even grab an autograph.
Upgrade to Corporate Hospitality
Why not treat yourself and go with a Boys Trip corporate hospitality package? Our Boys Trip Pit Lane Villa is in a prime spot on Pit Lane, elevated above the garages and with a great view of the start/finish line and the pit area and with all the bells and whistles you would expect with corporate hospitality, there’s no better place to be. Hospitality passes include;
- Daily Morning and Afternoon Teas
- Daily Hot Buffet Lunches
- Beverages including beer, wine, soft drinks, tea & coffee (from 11am until 5pm)

What You Need To Know
While our package pricing is for flights departing from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Queenstown, let us know if you need regional connections and we can add these to your package. Boys Trip has established an excellent partnership with Air New Zealand and they are our preferred carrier for all our packages. Your package includes Air New Zealand’s ‘The Works’ fares, which include 23kg of checked baggage, 7kg of carry-on luggage, seat requests and in flight meals and drinks. If you would prefer one of their other fare types, ‘Seat Only’ (no check in baggage, no meals) or ‘Seat and Bag’ (no meals), ‘Premium Economy’ or ‘Business Class’ then just let us know and we can take care of this for you. Where ever possible we will book you with Air New Zealand, however, some routes are operated by Virgin Australia. All flights include the $25 New Zealand Departure Tax Fee, which is included in the cost of your airfares.
We use Maui Campervans, their 2-Berth Campervans have one double bed or two single beds, 4-Berth Campervans have two double beds and 6-Berth Campervans have three double beds. All campervans have a toilet and shower. When requesting a quote please specify what size camper you would prefer. Our package includes all rental charges, levies and zero accident liability excess, however, the Maui Depot will still require a swipe of your credit card as an authorisation to have on file for your campervan.
Your campervan package includes; accident liability down to a zero excess, unlimited kilometres, picnic table and chairs (chairs per person), GPS, baby, child or booster seats, rollover cover, WIFI, including 1GB of data, additional drivers, portable fan/heater (if required), pillows, pillowcases, towels, sheets, duvets, cutlery, cooking utensils, all taxes, duties, vehicle registration recovery and administration costs.
There are also optional extras we can arrange for you including; High Chair (AU$23 per rental), Personal Safe (AU$20 per rental), First Aid Kit – (AU$35 to purchase - supplied with your rental and only charged if opened) and Esky/Chilly Bin (AU$23 per rental).

There are six different types of campsites available, please specify on your quote request form your desired camping ground. Please note that with the campsites being on Mount Panorama this does mean that a lot of the sites are on sloping ground, while we will endeavor to secure the best campsites available, we are unable to change the geography of the campsites. Campsite options are;

- Powered Motor Home Park - Extra $530
The Powered Motor Home Park is the only campsite with powered sites. Having a Powered site is a bit of a luxury, as everything in your campervan runs off either battery or gas power, other than the microwave, which requires 240V generator power. All campsites are approximately 10m x 8m. All camping grounds have toilet and shower amenities, but not cooking facilities. Please note, while we will do our best, we cannot always guarantee your first choice of campsite.
Boys Trip prefer to use Mantra Hotels and our accommodation in Sydney is at the Mantra 2 Bond Street Hotel in Sydney City, this is a 4-Star property, which features a heated rooftop pool, spa, 24 hour reception, gym, restaurant, bar and room service. Take your choice from;
- Executive Studio Room (King bed or two single beds)
- 2-Bedroom Apartment (King bed & Queen bed or Queen bed & two single beds)
- 3-Bedroom Apartment (King bed & two Queen beds or two Queen beds & two single beds)
Sofa beds can be added to any room for an additional $50 per night
Our Campervan Package includes 4-Day General Admission tickets (with Paddock Pass access) to the 2019 Bathurst 1000. You can opt to upgrade to a 4-Day Pit Straight Grandstand ticket (extra $220 per person) or a 4-Day Mountain Straight Grandstand ticket (extra $240 per person). The Mountain Straight Grandstand is the only covered grandstand. Grandstand tickets are only available in 4-Day passes, you cannot purchase single day grandstand passes. The Paddock Pass gives you a behind the scenes look at where all the action takes place. From inside the Paddock, you can see the teams working in the garages, the amazing purpose built team transporters and maybe even grab an autograph. Corporate Hospitality is also available for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which includes a full food and beverage service.
Included in the package are transfers from Sydney International Airport to Mantra 2 Bond Street on the 8th and from the hotel to Sydney Airport on the 15th. It does not include transfers to and from Mantra 2 Bond Street to the Maui Campervan Rentals Depot (located in Banksmeadow, about 20 minutes from the city). We can arrange transfers to and from the Rentals Depot if you wish, however we find that with a small group, it’s cheaper to just get a taxi and we can give you directions/map to the depot.

We do have some flexibility with travel dates and package inclusions, so if something doesn’t quite suit you, let us know and we can try to cater the package to suit your personal requirements.
For all bookings we require a 50% deposit to secure the package, with the remaining 50% not due until 6 weeks before your departure.
